Navigating Odyssey
How to navigate Odyssey
Let's take a tour of the Odyssey canvas.
Left navigation

On the left hand side you can toggle between nodes and workflows. There are a few different types of nodes:
Utility nodes are actions that can be applied to other nodes to make them behave a certain way
Images nodes are different effects that can be applied to images
Text nodes are simple effects you can apply to text
Language nodes are where you interact with large language models
Math nodes can help solve equations
Effects nodes are patterns and unique interactions
Video and audio nodes are coming soon
Workflows are similarly grouped into buckets. There are also “custom workflows” - which is where you’ll be able to save the workflows you’ve created.
There are two ways to get a node or workflow onto the canvas. The first is to select a node or workflow and click ‘Add to Canvas.’
The second is to drag and drop a node or workflow onto the canvas.
Right navigation

Different nodes will have different sets of interaction patterns. Selecting a node on the left will tell you more about what the node does on the right hand side of the canvas.
When you select a workflow, the right hand side will have a brief description of the workflow and a link to the workflow’s guide.
Once you add a node to the canvas, the right nav will display various settings you can control for different nodes. Nodes can be very simple or very complex - and whether a node has settings will largely depend on which node you select.
To change a node’s settings, simply select the node and update the parameters on the right.
The toolbar

Collapse and expand will give you more space on the canvas by collapsing or expanding Odyssey’s left and right nav
Undo - command + z - will apply to any change you make on the canvas
Redo - command + shift + z - will apply to any change you make on the canvas
Copy will allow you to either copy the content of the node (command + c) or the node itself (command + shift + C)
Paste (command + v) will allow you to paste whatever you copied directly onto the canvas
Delete (delete key) will remove the selected node or nodes from the canvas
Run will run the selected node. Some nodes run automatically while others wait for you to run them. You can also run nodes from the right navigation.
Group will group nodes into a single node container. On the right navigation, you can rename the group node whatever you'd like
Collapse will collapse the selected node or nodes
Share allows you to share the contents of a node
Clear canvas resets the entire canvas and removes all nodes
Zoom in (command +) or zoom out (command -) allows you to change the size of the canvas
Send feedback allows you to send us an email or a text message. We love to hear from you

Odyssey > Settings

General settings will eventually have more controls. For now, it will give you the option to have your canvas zoom out when a workflow is dragged onto (therefore showing the entire workflow.) This was a debate over which behavior was better between our designer and engineer so rather than make a decision, we added the choice to your settings.

API keys can be added, removed, and edited from your settings. Currently, Odyssey supports OpenAI and Stable Diffusion APIs. If you don’t have an API key, simply navigate to the provided links to set up your account and get your key

Downloads are the AI models that can be run locally on your device. You can download additional models or delete models directly from the downloads section. Odyssey has native download support for:
Stable Diffusion 1.5
Stable Diffusion 1.5 with the following ControlNet models
Depth
Canny
Segmentation
HED
MLSD
Scribble
Inpainting
OpenPose
Line Art
Line Art (Anime)
QR Code
Tile
Stable Diffusion XL
Realistic Vision 1.5
Dream Shaper
DreamShaper XL
Llama 2 (Chat 7B)
Alpaca Cielo 2 (7B)
Llama 2 (Instruct 7B)
Marcoroni (7B)

Workflows are where you can set the folder on your computer where your workflows are saved. It's also where you can change your author name for when saving and sharing workflows.

Custom models are where you can upload custom models into Odyssey. When adding a custom model, you'll need to make sure the model you're uploading has CoreML support. When you import a model, you'll need to define a few specifications to make sure the model runs correctly.

An in-depth guide to custom model support is coming soon.

Lastly, we're here to help. Please always reach out if you have any questions.
