Getting Started

When you first launch the Odyssey app, we will need to download a few AI models to your device. We start by downloading Stable Diffusion, Llama2, and the most common ControlNet models. You can always download additional models later by visiting settings > downloads.

While you wait, you can watch our onboarding video that will give you an overview of Odyssey. The models shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to download.

One of the big advantages of Odyssey is that you can run AI models directly on your device OR through APIs. Running models on your device will take longer but won’t cost you anything. Running a model through an API will be faster but will require attaching an API key.

Once your models are downloaded, it’s time to pick a workflow.

Selecting a workflow

The easiest way to get started with Odyssey is through workflows. When you first open Odyssey, you’ll have the option to start from a workflow or a blank document.

Selecting from an AI workflow to start Odyssey

Workflows are the easiest way to get started with Odyssey as all you'll need is an input image or prompt to get a remarkable result. You can read more about workflows here.
